Steady Student Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: August 27, 2026 • Last Updated: August 27, 2026
Welcome to Steady Student.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Steady Student website, platform, applications, tools, resources, communications, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By creating an account, accessing or using the Platform, scheduling an appointment, submitting information, or otherwise using Steady Student services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not create an account or use the Platform.
1. About Steady Student
Steady Student is a student-centered education and career navigation platform designed to help individuals explore educational opportunities, understand career pathways, connect with career support professionals, identify participating schools and programs, access student resources, and prepare for education and employment.
Depending on availability and eligibility, the Platform may provide or facilitate access to services and resources including:
- Career exploration and planning
- Career Counselor meetings
- School and program discovery
- School comparison tools
- Career assessments
- Admissions connections
- Educational resources
- Student support resources
- Transportation resources
- Childcare resources
- Scholarships and grant information
- Community and sponsor-supported resources
- Events and workshops
- Student profiles and milestones
- Employer and career opportunities
- Other education, career, or student-support services
Features may be added, modified, limited, suspended, or discontinued as Steady Student develops.
2. Steady Student Is Student-First
Steady Student is designed to prioritize the student experience.
Students may receive certain Steady Student services, including access to Career Counselors, without charge to the student.
Schools, employers, sponsors, community organizations, service providers, or other partners may separately pay Steady Student for memberships, services, advertising, sponsorships, technology, referrals, access to platform features, or other business services.
The existence of a financial relationship with an organization does not mean that Steady Student guarantees, endorses, or recommends that organization as the best option for any particular student.
Students remain responsible for deciding which school, program, employer, service, or opportunity is appropriate for them.
3. Career Counselors
Steady Student may assign eligible users a Career Counselor.
Steady Student Career Counselors provide education and career navigation support. Depending on the student's needs, this may include helping the student:
- Identify career interests and goals
- Explore potential career pathways
- Understand different education options
- Compare schools and programs
- Identify possible barriers to education
- Develop an education or career plan
- Prepare questions for schools
- Locate available student resources
- Review schools the student is considering
- Prepare for conversations with admissions representatives
Unless expressly stated otherwise, a Steady Student Career Counselor is not acting as a licensed therapist, psychologist, attorney, financial advisor, academic advisor, medical professional, or government representative.
Use of the title “Career Counselor” on Steady Student describes the individual's role within the Steady Student platform and does not, by itself, represent that the individual holds a professional license issued by a state licensing agency.
4. Career Counselor Before Admissions Access
Steady Student intentionally separates career exploration from school admissions.
Students using the applicable Steady Student pathway must first complete a meeting with their assigned Career Counselor before gaining access through Steady Student to participating Admissions Counselors or admissions representatives.
The purpose of this process is to provide students with an opportunity to discuss their interests, goals, questions, concerns, and potential barriers before beginning direct admissions conversations through the Platform.
Creating a Steady Student account does not automatically authorize schools or admissions representatives to contact a student.
5. School and Admissions Connections
Steady Student may allow students to discover schools and, when eligible, request or authorize connections with participating admissions professionals.
Schools and admissions professionals are separate organizations and individuals and are not employees of Steady Student unless expressly identified otherwise.
Steady Student does not control:
- A school's admissions decisions
- Tuition or fees
- Financial aid eligibility
- Program schedules
- Accreditation status changes
- Licensure eligibility
- Transferability of credits
- Graduation requirements
- Academic policies
- Clinical or externship placement
- Employment outcomes
- Certification examination eligibility
- Program availability
Students should independently review important information directly with the school and appropriate regulatory or accrediting organizations before enrolling.
6. School Information and Accreditation
Steady Student may display information concerning schools, campuses, programs, accreditation, approvals, tuition, schedules, student services, ratings, or other characteristics.
We work to provide useful and accurate information, but educational information can change.
Steady Student does not guarantee that every listing is complete, current, or error-free.
Students should verify important information directly with the institution and, where appropriate, the relevant accrediting agency, licensing board, state agency, or other authoritative source before making an enrollment decision.
A school's presence on Steady Student does not by itself constitute an endorsement by Steady Student.
7. Partner and Member Schools
Schools may interact with Steady Student in different capacities.
A school that establishes or claims its presence on the Platform may be identified as a Partner.
A school that purchases an eligible paid Steady Student membership may be identified as a Member and may receive access to additional platform functionality, data, analytics, reporting, or other premium services.
Partner or Member status reflects the school's relationship with Steady Student. It does not represent a guarantee regarding educational quality, student outcomes, accreditation, employment outcomes, or suitability for any individual student.
8. Verified Professionals
Steady Student may use verification procedures for certain schools, admissions professionals, employers, counselors, partners, or other users.
Verification may include methods such as:
- Business email verification
- School affiliation verification
- Telephone verification
- Employment verification
- Identity verification
- Business or facility verification
- Manual review
- Other reasonable verification procedures
A “Verified” designation means that Steady Student completed the applicable verification process at a particular point in time.
Verification is not a guarantee of future conduct, performance, quality, licensing status, employment status, or suitability.
9. Student Accounts
Students may create a Steady Student account without charge unless a particular optional service clearly states otherwise before purchase.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating and maintaining your account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity occurring through your account.
You may not:
- Impersonate another person
- Create accounts using materially false information
- Attempt to access another user's account
- Sell or transfer your account
- Use the Platform for fraud or harassment
- Attempt to bypass security or access restrictions
Steady Student may suspend or restrict accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, partners, the Platform, or its systems.
10. Appointments and Respect for Professional Time
Many professionals participating through Steady Student dedicate time to helping students at no charge to the student.
Students are expected to make reasonable efforts to attend scheduled appointments or cancel/reschedule in advance.
Repeated missed appointments, excessive cancellations, abusive behavior, or misuse of scheduling resources may result in temporary scheduling restrictions.
Steady Student may implement attendance policies, including temporary read-only or scheduling restrictions following repeated missed appointments.
Any applicable attendance policy will be communicated to the student through the Platform.
11. No Guarantee of Admission
Using Steady Student does not guarantee:
- Acceptance into a school
- Admission into a particular program
- Qualification for financial aid
- Receipt of scholarships or grants
- Transfer credit
- Program completion
- Certification
- Licensure
- Clinical placement
- Externship placement
- Employment

Education and employment outcomes depend on numerous circumstances outside Steady Student's control.

This information is provided for educational and informational purposes.
Salary information, where displayed, represents estimates, ranges, medians, historical data, or third-party information and is not a promise or guarantee of earnings.
Actual compensation varies based on factors including location, employer, experience, credentials, economic conditions, work schedule, and individual qualifications.
13. Financial Aid, Scholarships and Financial Information
Steady Student is not a financial institution, lender, financial aid office, or financial advisor.
Information concerning:
- Financial aid
- Scholarships
- Grants
- Tuition
- Payment plans
- Sponsorships
- Budgeting
- Financing
- Educational assistance
is provided for informational or resource-navigation purposes unless expressly stated otherwise.
Eligibility decisions are made by the applicable school, government agency, lender, sponsor, scholarship provider, or other organization.
14. Student Support Resources
Steady Student may connect students with third-party services or resources involving transportation, childcare, technology, educational supplies, food assistance, housing resources, community programs, or other support.
Availability may depend on:
- Location
- Eligibility
- Funding
- Sponsorship
- School participation
- Provider availability
- Program requirements
- Other factors
Listing a resource does not guarantee that a student will qualify for or receive that resource.
15. Steady Student Drivers and Transportation
Steady Student may offer, coordinate, facilitate, sponsor, or provide access to transportation-related services through the Steady Student Drivers program or participating transportation providers.
Transportation services may be subject to separate eligibility requirements, driver requirements, safety policies, scheduling rules, payment terms, geographic limitations, insurance requirements, and transportation-specific terms.
Availability of transportation is not guaranteed.
Where required, users may be required to accept additional transportation terms before requesting or receiving transportation services.
16. Third-Party Providers
Some resources available through Steady Student are provided by independent third parties.
These may include schools, childcare providers, transportation providers, employers, sponsors, technology providers, community organizations, financial service providers, or other organizations.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, these organizations are independent from Steady Student.
Steady Student is not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, policies, representations, services, products, or decisions of third-party organizations.
17. Student Choice and Communication Privacy
Steady Student is designed to give students greater control over their education exploration experience.
Steady Student does not intend for a student's decision to simply explore a school through the Platform to automatically authorize that school to contact the student.
Where applicable, student information may be shared with a school or professional when the student:
- Requests a connection;
- Selects an applicable contact option;
- Gives permission for the connection;
- Participates in a workflow requiring disclosure; or
- Otherwise authorizes the sharing.
Additional information about how personal information is collected, used, and shared will be provided in the Steady Student Privacy Policy.
18. Employers and Steady Professional
Steady Student may provide employer and recruiter functionality through Steady Professional or related services.
Access to student or graduate information may be limited according to student status, privacy settings, consent, eligibility, and Platform rules.
An employer's access to Steady Student does not give the employer unrestricted permission to contact students.
Employers and recruiters must comply with applicable Steady Student communication, recruiting, privacy, anti-discrimination, and job-posting requirements.
Steady Student may remove employers, recruiters, job postings, or opportunities that appear misleading, discriminatory, fraudulent, exploitative, inactive, or inconsistent with Platform standards.
19. Student Profiles and Milestones
Eligible students may be able to create profiles documenting educational and professional progress.
Profiles may contain information such as:
- Program information
- Educational milestones
- Certifications
- Skills
- Clinical or externship milestones
- Workshops
- Career preparation activities
- Graduation status
- Employment-related information
- Student updates
Certain milestones may be identified as verified when Steady Student or an authorized organization confirms them.
Students may not intentionally submit false credentials, certifications, educational history, employment history, or other materially misleading information.
20. Reviews, Ratings and Student Feedback
Steady Student may allow students or graduates to provide feedback regarding schools, programs, services, or experiences.
Users submitting reviews or feedback must provide their genuine opinions and experiences.
Steady Student may moderate content for reasons including fraud, harassment, threats, spam, privacy violations, impersonation, irrelevant content, or violations of these Terms.
Steady Student will not require a user to provide a positive review as a condition of receiving a benefit.
Nothing in these Terms prohibits a consumer from providing an honest review or expressing an honest opinion about Steady Student or another business.
21. Sponsors
Organizations may sponsor Steady Student programs, resources, events, services, or student-support initiatives.
Sponsorship does not provide a sponsor unrestricted access to student personal information.
Any disclosure of student information to a sponsor will be governed by applicable law, the Privacy Policy, student permissions where required, and the specific structure of the sponsored program.
Sponsored content or relationships may be identified where appropriate.
22. User Content
You may have opportunities to upload or submit information, photographs, messages, reviews, documents, profile information, or other materials (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of your User Content.
By submitting User Content to Steady Student, you grant Steady Student a limited license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display that content as reasonably necessary to operate the Platform and provide the services you request, subject to our Privacy Policy and your applicable privacy settings.
