Steady Student is now an app.
You don't need an app store. Tap the button below and Steady Student will live on your home screen like any other app — full screen, with its own icon, no browser bars. It's free, and it uses the same account you already have.
On Android a small window pops up and you tap Install. On iPhone we show you the exact spot to tap. Either way it takes about ten seconds.
iPhone
The steps below match exactly what you'll see on your screen.
- 1Open steadystudent.org on your iPhone
- 2Tap the three dots (⋯) at the bottom of the screen
- 3Tap "View more" — the arrow that looks like > pointing down
- 4Tap "Add to Home Screen" — the square with the + sign
- 5Tap "Add" in the top right corner
The Steady Student icon now sits on your home screen, next to your other apps. Open it and it fills the whole screen — just like a downloaded app.
Android
Use Chrome — most Android phones already have it.
- 1Open Chrome and go to steadystudent.org
- 2If a small banner pops up at the bottom saying "Add Steady Student to Home screen", tap it — you're done. If not, continue below.
- 3Tap the three dots in the top right corner of the browser
- 4Tap "Add to Home screen" (on some phones it says "Install app")
- 5Tap "Install" or "Add" to confirm
- 6On a Samsung phone using Samsung Internet instead: tap the three lines at the bottom right, then "Add page to" → "Home screen"
