To tutor, you need an Associate's degree or higher, or a very strong assessment score. Applying doesn't create an account or guarantee placement.

What happens after you apply

  1. Our team reviews your application — allow up to one week.
  2. If your application moves forward and includes a resume, we email you a timed subject assessment to take from home.
  3. A passing score plus valid I-9 documents moves you to hiring consideration.
  4. Once you're approved, your tutor dashboard opens and you can start scheduling sessions.
  5. After you're hired, we'll send an optional request to feature you on our social media platforms — a welcome post introducing you to our followers as we grow. If you don't mind, reply with a headshot (business casual is fine) and a short bio for us to post, then follow us and let family and friends know.

We prefer tutors with a social media presence so families can see your tutoring and teaching style — it's not required.

About the role and when you can work

Lead live, small-group tutoring sessions for K–12 learners, college students, and career-program students, and offer optional one-on-one sessions on your own terms.

Group sessions have 5–7 learners at a time. We need tutors Monday through Friday for morning, afternoon, and evening group sessions. You can host as many sessions per day as you choose.

  • K–12 and college group sessions: $35 per session.
  • Program-specific group sessions (such as Anatomy & Physiology, Physics, Chemistry, and healthcare or trade program courses): $65 per session.
  • One-on-one sessions: you set your own rate and availability.
