This is the Steady Student you find organically or through a friend, family member, or community partner. Explore careers, education requirements, and what could get in your way, at your own pace. Nothing is shared with a school unless you ask us to.

Start with where you actually are
You pick the option that sounds most like you — better pay, ready to go back, already know the career, or no idea yet. There is no form to fill out first.
You never have to explain your whole story before you get somewhere useful.
What's Different Between Them
Both Steady Student and Steady Student Plus are student accounts. The only difference is how you got in: on your own or through a referral, versus through a campus that joined the platform. Everything a student needs to make a decision is free either way.

Schools never see individual career plans, assessment answers, or counselor notes. Student support programs vary by campus and are approved and funded by that campus.

Steady Student Partnership Managers
Partnership Managers help campuses activate their profile, understand what prospective students are actually asking for, and decide which student support programs they want to offer.
What we're looking for
- You listen first and diagnose before you recommend anything
- You're comfortable talking with admissions leadership and campus directors
- You follow through and keep your own notes and pipeline organized
- Local relationships in education or workforce development are a plus
- 1–2 years of sales experience, or a consultative background with measurable outcomes
- 2–3 years in education, admissions, career services, or workforce development is also a strong fit
- Psychology, counseling, or human-services majors are welcome
- Sales background helps, but it is not required
This role is commission-based today. Details are discussed directly in the interview.
Career Counselors
Career Counselors sit with students before, during, and after the school decision — reviewing what they shared, meeting them, and building a plan they can actually follow.
What we're looking for
- Experience guiding adult learners, career changers, or working parents
- Patience with people who are starting over and unsure where to begin
- Honest about what school can and cannot solve for someone
- Comfortable documenting a plan and following up on it
- Protective of student privacy, always
